4 Corners Music Festival: Co. Antrim

The hard swinging David Lyttle Trio play the 4 Corners Music Festival on Thursday, October 9. Drummer David Lyttle studied contemporary jazz and composition at the University of Ulster and New York’s Skidmore Jazz Institute and has performed with artists Jean Touissant, Jacqui Dankworth and Soweto Kinch. His debut album “True Story” was released in 2007 to critical acclaim. Also playing the festival on Friday, October 10 is fast-rising Co. Antrim folk band The Rapparees, fresh from the release of new album “Clarity”. The 4 Corners Music Festival features other local groups and workshops and is organised by Andrim district musicians collective known as MADD now a community music development organisation focusing on access to music education and training, project management and provision of music support services.
