A new CD album entitled The Meeting is a unique collection of traditional tunes and original compositions performed by accomplished Ulster harpists Sharon Carroll (pictured) and Cherith Boyle - Boyle is a friend and former pupil of Carroll’s. The new CD will be launched at the Edward Bunting Harp Festival in Armagh - www.edwardbuntingharpfestival.com - May 23-25, 2008.

Sharon Carroll lives in Newry, Co. Down and has performed the Irish harp extensively throughout Ireland: her playing is featured on CD recordings and film soundtracks. Cherith Boyle lives in Ballymena Co. Antrim and combines her career as a music teacher, composer and musician.
