Swurve sort American label deal
April 15, 2008 |
Coleraine based “melodic rock” trio Swurve - messrs. Cozy McAuley, Steve Legear, and Tim Torrens [not Tim Collins - ed] - plan to release a new EP, single and future LP with an (unnamed) American label later in 2008. Swurve say that the Los Angeles based label is owned by one of the biggest names in the American music industry. The band recently spent a week holed up at Manor Park Studios with best mate and producer Neal Calderwood. The outcome of that session was four brand new songs - “Hiding behind your shadow”, “Pushing”, “Burning down”, “Strangers in the dark” - samples of which can be found on the band’s new website and myspace. More studio time has been booked for October.
