No Celtic Boundaries, a well-established independent radio show previously only broadcast in Scotland and the Western Isles, will be available to listen to from the first Wednesday in April 2008 on West Belfast based community radio station Féile FM. This will be Feile’s first syndicated show, deviating from the station’s strong Irish language stance, and because of its emphasis on the best of Irish and Scottish artists, it’s hoped the show will appeal to the entire community of West and North Belfast. Nothing transcends differences quite as fast or effectively as the love of great music.  [Ulster folk/acooustic/traditional bands can contact NCB via its website  - ed] The shows will feature interviews with big names such as RunRig, Mary Black, Tom Acton (in the works), Tony Reidy, The Popes (spin-off from Shane Magowan’s The Pogues), and many, many others. No Celtic Boundaries will broadcast at 2.30pm each Wednesday for a trial run through the spring and summer of 2008.
