Undertones headbutt punk label’s 30th hooley
March 18, 2008 |
The Undertones headline a concert at QUBSU’s Mandela Hall, Belfast on Friday, April 25 to mark the 30th anniversary of influential Belfast punk label Good Vibrations: tickets cost £20 from www.gotobelfast.com. Named after the Brian Wilson’s exhuberent polyphonic spree, Good Vibrations was founded by “self-confesssed anarchist” Terri Hooley in 1978 and based in his then record store on Belfast’s Gt. Victoria Street. The rest is history. Other local artists on the bill include Shame Academy, The Panama Kings and special guests. More: http://www.theundertones.com
