Co. Down singer-songwriter Paula McAleese [MySpace] began performing around Belfast back in 2003, playing her first gig in at the Pavillion Bar “Saturday Night Live Line-up”. She then joined a band called Amoruza [MySpace] as lead vocalist and songwriter, performing across Ulster. Amoruza released its first EP entitled Discover in late 2004. Meantime, along with Amoruza lead guitarist Steven McKnight, McAleese continued to perform under her own name as a two-piece acoustic act. She home-recorded her EP Pale Moon Tales early 2007 and sent a demo to ambitious Ulster label Urban Angel. Reach Out, her first commercial single with Urban Angel - “KT Tunstal, Joni Mitchell and a taste of Snow Patrol” - is available now from: http://www.urbanangelmusic.co.uk/
