Co. Down singer-songwriter Paula McAleese [MySpace] began performing around Belfast back in 2003, playing her first gig in at the Pavillion Bar “Saturday Night Live Line-up”. She then joined a band called Amoruza [MySpace] as lead vocalist and songwriter, performing across Ulster. Amoruza released its first EP entitled Discover in late 2004.

Ken Haddock, purveyor of fine cover versions at his long-running Sunday night “Ken Haddock’s Supper Club” at The Belfast Empire Music Hall (basement, free, from 9.30pm), has added another weekly gig to his busy schedule.
