Eleventh strike right note

February 12, 2008 |

Eleventh NoteEleventh Note has a heart for soft rock and a head for hard business: the 4-piece Belfast band has been busy gigging its brand of melodic rock around Northern Ireland and has recorded an album of stadium-friendly material entitled Only Remnants. This debut album is slated for CD release in the USA in September 2008 thanks to a partnership with eleven29 records / NvaazionUSA. Since forming in the summer of 2005 the band has enjoyed several highs: they rocked a Limelight crowd of over 400 for a gig they organised to raise funds for medical aid to Malawi; and last August the band scored a top 10 placing in a competition for unsigned NI bands on local radio station Cool FM. Catch Eleventh Note in Dundee, Scotland on February 16 and at Belfast’s Limelight on February 24 - and London’s Tommy Flynn’s on April 2. More www.myspace.com/eleventhnote
