(UAM recently tasted Irish chart success with Lila). Hedley’s new album - as yet untitled - will be toured in Ireland and the UK when released in 2008. In 2002, Hedley’s album Blues for Concern caught the attention of Old Grey Whistle Test presenter Bob Harris, who handed it to former Mannfred Mann frontman Paul Jones, who in turn set up the session with Lee’s band (formerly called Beale Street Boogie Band). The Lee Hedley Band has enjoyed two successful tours of Ireland with ex Muddy Waters Chicago blues guitarist John Primer and more recently, with famed Chicago bluesman Phil Guy.
