Music for film, TV, multimedia

November 27, 2007 |

NIMIC are hosting a high-profile Music: It’s the Business event on Monday, December 3 that looks specifically at the business of music for film, TV and multimedia. The potential incomes for writers, composers and recording artists from the use of their work in film, television, advertisements and multimedia are substantial. These ‘secondary’ incomes from recorded music are becoming an increasingly significant part of many artists’ and writer’s incomes. Multimedia music placement can also provide a very effective profile raising promotional platform. This seminar [more] will provide practical advice and guidance in relation to the rights issues, income streams and business considerations involved in this important area. The event will be presented by experienced key professionals from relevant sectors of the international industry including:

Clare McKinney (Domino Records)
Annie Reed (Independent music publisher)
Phil Bird (Online music publisher - Ricall)
Rocky O’Reilly (Artist - Oppenheimer)

Places will be reserved for industry professionals. To secure your place at the event please sandra@nimusic.com

when: Monday 3rd December, 5.30pm - 8pm
