Make a good living from live gigging

NIMIC hosts a high profile Music: It’s the Business event - 3-6pm on Wednesday, November 7, at the Spring & Airbrake, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast - focused on the live music sector. The event will feature presentations and a Q&A session with some of Northern Ireland’s major live music industry players: Feargal Sharkey - Chairman of the Live Music Forum; James Cassidy - Head of record label and publisher Alberts Music; Paul Clegg - International Tour Manger; Alan Simms - promoter of Shine and Stiff Kitten; Paddy Glasgow - Glasgowbury Festival Promoter. Key industry organisations including the Musicians Union (MU), Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and Performing Rights Society (PRS) will also take part.
