October 16, 2007 |
Running now for seven years, The Real Music Club lays claim to being Ulster’s leading promoter of acoustic (”real”) music. Based at The Errigle Inn on the Ormeau Road [where be thy Google map? - ed] the first venue in Belfast city to hold an entertainment license, the club specialises in acoustic music performed by professional touring acts. Over the years, RMC has worked with numerous award-winning artists, including nearly a score of Grammy award winners or nominees: Steve Earle, Billy Bragg, Roger McGuinn, Janis Ian, Rodney Crowell, Tom Russell, John Hammond, and Tommy Emmanuel.
