Established in 2000, Heaven Bound is a female gospel trio from Co. Antrim who “…seek to serve our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, through song…“. The trio launched their new CD recording The Power Of The Cross on September 15 in Ballymena: 700 people gathered at Cambridge House Grammar School for the evening. Other artists taking part were Rev. William McCrea (accompanied by Ryan McKee on keyboards), Kathryn Mitchell, Geoff and Gillian Sloss, and Rodney and Helen Mitchell & Family. Heaven Bound sang 7 songs from The Power Of The Cross: Ready To Leave, He Was The Man, I Call Him Lord, On My Journey Home, Gloryland, Empty Fields and The Power Of The Cross. Proceeds from CD sales (£12.99) are going to support missionary work.
