Big Jolly’s litmus test

Big Jolly productions/management was formed summer 2002 to assist rising bands secure live experience. Since then, Downpatrick, Co. Down based Big Jolly has moved to promote unsigned bands - for example, metal/hardcore/hip-hop act Acidtone - in Ireland, the UK and Europe. Formed in the summer of 2002, “shockrockers”Acidtone comprises brothers Conor and Adam McKee, cousin Conall McKee, and mate Philip Hanna. The band has played Belfast’s Rosetta Bar and Katy Daly’s, Derry’s Nerve Centre and “the first ever live internet showcase” from Belfast’s The Front Page featuring local rock bands.
