Apple pips Amazon

Apple, Inc. - not to be confused with Apple Corp - has sold over 3 billion songs via its on-line music store iTunes. The Silicon Valley company, which makes the market-leading iPod digital media player, said iTunes recently surpassed e-tailer Amazon.com to become the third-largest music retailer in the US.
