Duke to headline Glasgowbury
June 22, 2007 |
Duke Special headlines Glasgowbury, the “small but massive” one-day music festival near Draperstown on Saturday, July 21. Now in its 7th year, this time around the event has 3 live stages, performance areas, a movie house, circus acts, craft Shops and a “holistic zone” [presumably for UFO parking - ed]. Glasgowbury - named after co-founder Paddy Glasgow - has a focus on support ing “breakthrough artists” - hence no major established acts - and has plans to establish a rural training centre with facilities for emerging arts, media and music. Tickets - £15 in advance, £20 on the day - now on sale via non-Ticketmaster outlets.
