Ulster Project Benefit ConcertNo less than four American indie bands come together on stage on Friday, June 15 at a club called Lucky’s in downtown Greenville, North Carolina to raise funds for an east-coast charity helping disadvantaged teenagers from Northern Ireland see the world in a different light. Started in the late 1970’s, the Ulster Project has sponsored placements with US families for over 6000 “kids of the troubles”. This is an annual benefit concert with some late night “pop-noir” [who he? - ed] to help promote “unity amidst diversity”. Details on MySpace:
