The Northern Ireland Dance Music Awards 2007 took place at Belfast’s La Lea last week (May 25). The event, the second in the series, was again organised by ClubLife, the Dundonald based dance music promotions, marketing and events company. ClubLife director Christopher Lynch said: “Last year’s event at the Europa hotel was a big hit.” This year’s award categories included: Best Northern Irish DJ (won this year and last year by Fergie), Best Up & Coming Talent (Jordan X), Most Informative Dance Media (Fate Magazine), and Best Club (Lush!). Public voting took place earlier this year, with winners selected from a short-list of the most popular submissions.
