May 27, 2007 |
17th Annual Holywood International Jazz Festival 2007: Friday-Saturday-Sunday, June 1-2-3…
Ulster Jazz Events presents another weekend of swing and jazz, in and around Holywood town, on the coastline of County Down. Making their first appearance at the prestigious event will be The Jive Aces from London, arguably Britain’s busiest and best swing band of their era. The Jive Aces programme features the classics made famous by such greats as Louis Prima (Just a Gigolo), Louis Jordan (Five Guys named Mo), Cab Calloway (Minnie the Moocher) Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Louis Armstrong.
