Escape Act float “Hot Air” EP
February 20, 2007 |
Belfast based 3-piece indie band Escape Act - a splinter group from now-defunct Nine Bar International and red-carded Roque Junior - have pressed a new 3-track CD EP, and hung mp3 downloads on the website. The self-produced studio recording entitled Hot Air [obviously a reference to climate change - ed] was CD mastered at a secret location in the USA.
Escape Act plan to post these three new songs (Napkins with Nettles, Cabin Fever, Corpses Candle) on Apple iTunes. The three Escapees and support rocked north Belfast’s The Front Page on Friday, Feb 2: a live verion of Cabin Fever is ready for upload to YouTube and Myspace. [ok, okk - as soon as i figure out how to capture USB streaming video and audio from the Sony Digital8 Handycam onto the Sony VIAO laptop… ed]
Bassist Rich Dale said “…Eascpe Act plan a 4-date tour of Ireland in February”.
