Duke makes Radio 2 Album of the Week

The new Duke Special album, scheduled for UK release on April 20, 2009, has been selected BBC Radio 2 “Album of the Week”. The appropriately titled I Never Thought This Day Would Come was released in Ireland by Universal Music Ireland in October last year. For this album, Duke Special (Peter Wilson) collaborated with other songwriters, including sessions with former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler. The RTE Symphony Orchestra, under the stewardship of David Brophy, supplied a swirling carnival flavour to the album. http://www.dukespecial.com
